Is it ok to inject into a sore butt?

Last friday I injected into my right glute and it was fine till monday night when it started to hurt and by tuesday morning it was extremely painfull and by Wednesday afternoon my tailbone started hurting. Is this normal?

Now its friday (in Australia) and my tailbone is still hurting, my right glute still has a little lump (im guessing scar tissue) but is hardly sore.

Would it be ok to inject again into my right glute?

What are you injecting ?? You could rotate between glutes, quads and delts.. 6 spots

Im injecting test-e. I have never done other spots besides glutes. Would quads or delts need a shorter length needle/syringe?

Also if I was to inject in my glute which still has a slight lump would it be ok?

if it has a lump pick another spot !! test e is usually very smooth , try warming it up a bit before pinning it, check this site out spotinjections.com

You should learn to rotate injections. Google injections sites and it will come up with many good options. Learn your favorites and start rotating. I personally do glutes, quads, shoulders. And if im running a cycle where i have to inject lots of times. Ill also do bi's and Tris, and sometimes calfs. Quads will propably hurt at first but you get used to it and then it doesnt hurt. It usually becomes a favorite for most. Hope that helps alittle. Id avoid shooting a spot thats already sore. just because it is unnecesary

sounds to me that you hit a nerve... not only that but you missed the muscle.. either your needle is too short or your location was off and you developed a sterile abscess. if you don't get the oil into the muscle this is what will happen.

and no it is not okay to inject there for a while until that abscess goes away. you need to learn to inject in other places... try spot injections website to learn other areas.

It is ok to use the same length needle, you just dont need to put all of that needle in.

Thanks for all the info guys. Today I woke up and had no pain on my glute but a very very small lump so I decided to pin in the glute (cause I'm too worried about doing it anywhere else).

Though something happened today that hasnt happened before.

My mate was injected me. He aspirated and it was hard to pull back and when it did come back bubbles filled the syringe so it was all clear and he pushed it all in but after he pulled the syringe out there was a spot of blood in the syringe.

Did I do something wrong??? I tried searching the site and google but couldn't find anything.

^^^did u not read what i wrote above? you have a sterile abscess so STOP pinning that spot. when u aspirated you pulled up pus from the abscess, pretty nasty if you ask me.. and then you injected that pus along with the oil back into the same area it already was. not smart, wouldn't surprise me if you got an even bigger abscess now.

if you are too scared to pin other areas then you need to give up and just stick with orals. mrsupps has some very good choices to choose from.

Hmm didn't know that Steve.

I think it's time I learn to do other spots. What would you say is the best place to inject besides the glute?

I think I'm going to have to do quads next.

Also out of curiosity, you said that I injected straight into the abscess, would my muscles/body still have absorbed it?

boys - ONCE YOU LEARN TO PIN VENTRO GLUTES IT WILL BECOME YOUR BEST SPOT.
trust me and try.... I inject test prop there with no pain at all wheres if I do quads I am crippled by it.
Ventro injections are EASY ... unlike glutes where I need to either use only one hand or stretch so much that it hurts and my hands shake.

Ventro - you can use two hands ... and I came up with this to find the injection site.....
I put my hand on a piece of paper and traced it. I cut the paper palm out. I marked the spot where the middle of the palm needs to come over the hip joint and marked the spot between the fingers where you need to pin. I just put the cut out palm on my hip joint and mark the injection spot on my skin with fingernail. then I pin ... EASY.
once you try it you'll never come back. and you can put 3 mil in there too. the BEST SPOT to pin - A FACT.

An update. I had a lump near my tailbone from the last injection (last week) and 2 nights ago it was extremely painful, couldn't sit properly. The lump was swollen and red and I also had a fever. Went to the doctor, turned out to be an infection. Doctor gave me some antibiotics (keflex).

I'm suspecting dirty gear? cause this is the second lump next to my tailbone 2 injections in a row.

^^^ possible.. there is the sterile abscess which isn't an infection.. and there is the abscess you got which is infected. are you swabbing yourself and keeping everything clean? swap needles constantly, don't re-use obviously and use a fresh needle to pin. nothing more to ad except throw your gear away if you think its the gear

If its still sore,,I would inject elsewhere.

I always swab myself and keep everything clean. I use 2 needles, one to withdraw the roids the other to inject.

I decided to get rid of the gear and got my hands on some new gear. Here is a picture of the new gear
