Yes. The majority of strippers have deep seeded emotional issues, or else why would they be taking off their clothes night after night, infront of a room of strange men, displaying their body like a piece of meat ?

Yes, strippers are fucked up, and yes they do it for the money. Call it for what it is.

But u know what? I like it. So I guess that makes me fucked up too. Sure, I love watching strippers take their clothes off, and I dont mind paying a few extra bucks to squeeze their tities. And they laugh at me for paying them money so they can rationalize their 'wayward' lifestyle. So be it. Both parties are getting what they want, and both parties are engaging in relativily "immoral" social behavour.

We at least I know it's not just me. I like said, I just kinda dated a stripper one recently and known a few threw friends. Everyone has problems the the problem I'm talking about which prompted me to post this in the 1st place go beyond way those of the average person. That does make them bad people, just a more in need a therapy then a lot of people. And note, I didn't say all. I said most.

To me, there are two kinds of strippers.
There are the one's who dance just to make money--it's just a job. Albeit not a respectable job in most people's eyes, but a job.
These girls are either in school, or not, but if they are not they are not out partying all day and night and messed up in the head. They are just like the girl who works at Kmart and doesnt go to school......
Then, there are the ones who basically LIVE that life. They come in the dressing room (when I am leaving since I work days) already seeming to be fucked up, loud and obnoxious and everything seems to revlove around thier job/stripper lifestyle.
Most people who have these stereotypes of dancers have obviously met too many of the latter kind, and not encountered the normal girls.

i highly doubt that. the percentage of strippers that make a grand a night is probaly very low. its more like what alexiarenee said.

one of my friends strips, at a good club, and its not a grand a night.

your arguement is that just because they make alot of money and drive a lexus that they are happy. the fact is, is that typically the type of individual that does this for a living, has problems. (previous family problems, drug problems, etc,). your not considering the thousands of run down joints where its a dive. there are alot more of those than the upscale gentlemens clubs.

of course there are exceptions.

so before you start making guarantee's, and comments on how dumb this thread is, get your facts straight, this thread was about strippers that have emotional baggage, not that money can make you happy.

agreed. but then the ones who do it as just a job seem to really be the minority and some of them even get sucked into the lifestyle.
