I’ve noticed something interesting when I’m on Nolva. My test levels increase nicely as LH is stimulated but so does my SHBG (meaning my free-test isn’t that great), which in turn reduces my libido. Does this happen to anyone else? I went through a worrying period following 6 weeks of Nolva where my penis felt kinda numb in addition to lower than normal sex drive… looking back at previous blood tests I’m beginning to think this was due to the Nolva (I was taking flax seed oil / vitamins, creatine and aminos but nothing else over this period). Once my SHBG was back down to normal (with a little help from Adex) I regained full sensation and good SD. I’ve posted on this before but only recently after examining blood work have I drawn these conclusions.

I’m thinking - as elevated estradiol increases SHBG and Nolva is a very weak but strong binding estrogen could it have a secondary effect of elevating SHBG (perhaps more in some people than others)? Opinions / thoughts on this appreciated

Nolavdex can increase SHBG. In regards to erectile dysfunction, it would be highly dependant on the individual. Definitely a possibility.

nolvadex never affected my sex drive.

It has affected mine a little bit, but I'm taking 100mg ED to get rid of gyno.

100mg of tamoxifen a day is overkill. you shouldnt need more than 60mg a day (20mg t.i.d.)
