9 person company and was never told when a review or raise would come when I started

.... started in May

Think I should ask for a raise in November?

Instead of asking for a raise, ask when they plan on having your next review.

You wont get raises as often w/ a small company - you really have to be a team player. They will give you a raise if you work hard - but it will be less often but more moeny when you get them (ya know what i mean)

lol, hell no son. I'd show you the door REAL quick.

Your first mistake was expecting them to "tell" you when the performance reviews and salary timelines are. You need to be preparded and ask these questions yourself.

As cindybou said, sit down and talk to them about when performance reviews are. They'll know you're eyeing some additional $$$.

And you better deserve that $$ holmes

I'd say yes, people don't realize that the employers don't have nearly as much power as they used too, it is now mostly us the employee's with the power, at least in my country, because there are far more jobs then there are people.

a small company ESPECIALLY needs people, I'd say it's ok to ask for a raise, it's always ok to ask, but you agreed to the salary when you started, so make sure you're working hard enough to warrant a raise make yourself an invaluable asset to them.

it's up to you to get as much for your labor as possible

and it's up to your employer to pay you as little as possible for that labor

gotta fight for it

Of course, but fight for it does not mean ask for more money after 6 fucking months. If somebody did that to me I'd laugh at them and tell em to fuck themselves right in the asshole area. There are ways to fight for more money without looking like a complete donkey.

I think I do deserve it.. Play an integral role there very well

did you accept a starting salary that is unreasonably low compared to what the market sets for a similar role?
