Is it beneficial to overtrain while on AAS?

Im in my fourth week fina/test. Im loving this cycle, ive had zero noticable negative side effects, and plenty of positive.

Should i worry about overtraining. Ex. i did legs today, and feel like i could go back to the gym tonight and do a different bodypart. Normally i wouldnt have energy for this anyways, but even if i did i would think it is not beneficial.

Will the AAS compensate for the extra muscle recovery, or should i just stick to a normal split? I dont want to compromise any muscle growth by overtraining.

I think of over training as expending effort where no additional benefit is achieved or even resulting in a negative return. In other words, additional training gives you no additional results at best and negative results at worse. In that case, over training is always bad. Of course, super-supplements may increase recovery ability allowing you to increase your work load with positive results. But just because you are training more doesn't mean you are over training.

overtraining is still overtraining. even with AAS. however, AAS does increase your bodys threshold to overtraining meaning you can train much more on AAS than you could without them before you reach the point of "overtraining". your recovery time will be shorter on cycle so you will be able to train harder while on. this is one of the big benefits of AAS.

you'll really see it when you come off. you won't be able to do nearly the volume you are capable of now without hitting the "overtraining" point.

still...

after leg day i think its best to chill the rest of the day.

correct me if i'm wrong but the 3 biggest muscles in the body are the glutes, quads, hams.

I think when your on AS your recupertion is much better. Energy is though the roof so in a sence your training better than you would normally be. If your talking about another set or 2 go for it . But your body will grow better if you get more sleep and feed it properly.

True.

Another alternative would be to separate the legs into the front and the back. In that case I would say you could do two sessions a day.

But if you have done an all out squats/leg curls/sldls type of w/o your muscles are toast, no matter how much juice you are on.

Save it up and hit it hard tomorrow.

Sometimes it is best to leave yourself hungry for more (and not just in training).

Lately, I've been wondering if "overtraining" is sort of a myth. I mean, Arnold did pretty well for not training "the right way." Just something to consider, that's all. :)

i think i read a quote by Lee Priest one time saying "there's no such thing as overtraining, just undereating." interesting

This quote originated from one of the Barbarian Brother (David or Peter, I'm not sure).
