Is it beneficial to overtrain while on AAS?

Over traning is always bad no matter what....but for me it was very hard to get to the point of over training or I should say I never felt as if I was overtraining when I was on test and anavars, but my last couple weeks my gains slowed way down and it was possible overtraining might have been the cause.

yeah more than 8 sets is too much for normal people

I do increase my sets by 20-25% while on. I do 12 sets per bodypart normally; I bump that to 15-16 sets while on.

so how many excercises to most of you all do, i do around what dial tone does with around 16 sets per body part, 4 excercises, 4 4 sets, except bis and tris 3 exc. 4sets, if i only did 8 sets i would feel i wasn't getting much of a workout, i've put on around 25 pounds in the last 5 weeks so i don't think i'm overtraining

I guess my main concern is not overtraining one bodypart per se, but rather doing multiple bodyparts in a day.

Do i need to sufficiently increase my caloric/protein intake to compensate for the additional muscle recovery or will the steroids better utilize the nutrients i am already consuming.

Normally i just do one bodypart per week but i would like to double up until im done with this cycle. I think i have the energy. But if its counterproductive, then i have better things to do than waste that time in the gym.

Lately, I've been wondering if "overtraining" is sort of a myth. I mean, Arnold did pretty well for not training "the right way." Just something to consider, that's all.

thats what i've been wondering myself. alot of the old pros trained for 2hours or so. even some of the current pros train that long. i remember a joke about overtraining being born from supplement companies- forgot how it went though. anyway, if you are interested to see the results of a 2hour workout, why not try it out?

I just started a program developed by the East German Powerlifting team. It's too early to tell how my gains are yet. My workout yesterday was about 100 minutes. Tough, but I slept like a baby last night for about 9 hours, and I feel great today.
