The Firehouse Steak Sub with provolone is a close approximation of a Cheese steak. The New York Steamer is a pretty good sammich, too.

The Blues made a bunch of noise last weekend, was thier end of season show. It's still a mess around here from Ivan, plus they're building a new I-10 bridge over Escambia bay and changing the interchange at I-10/I-110. Navy Boulevard lost about half of its bars. Most everyone parties downtown, over near Cordova Mall, or out on Pensacola Beach.

The same road from West to East is Saufley Field Road (until it crosses US90), then it becomes Michigan Avenue (until it crosses the railroad tracks), then it becomes Beverly Parkway (until it crosses Pace BLVD), then it becomes Brent Lane (until it crosses 9th Avenue), where it becomes Bayou BLVD.

Ain't that about weird as hell?
