Is HRT for Life???

I was doing research and looks like men who can go on hrt (test) sometime in there 40s'. My research told me that most will use a small dose of adex to control the Estrogen sides. Research also showed me that most men will stay on hrt very long term, 20+ years as long as BW comes back good.
I say all that to ask this, so does that mean AI's really dont ever lose there effectivenss like other meds do ( heart meds ect.)????
I read one article What do we know about the mechanisms of aromatase inhibitor resistance?
It talks about how AIs lose effectiveness over time, well at least lose there effectivenss on tumors, but in HRT your not dealing ith cancerous tumors rather just an increase of estrogen from an increae in test,but like i said men will stay on adex for years with hrt with no problems..
So I ask...

It is often for life. Most doctors will monitor you closely to make sure of no problems.

I think to properly answer part of your question you need to define HRT. A lot of people here think HRT is doc monitored cycling but it is not. HRT is as its name would indicate "replacement therapy". Your natural production will shut down due to exo test so you take enough to get your test level back to a high normal range. When in that range the chance of sides is low and AI Use a lot lower than when on a cycle. I think its probably too early to tell if AI's truly lose effectiveness over a 20 year span and if so how much.

Well I guess what im getting at is that would aromasin just stop working for a BB in 5 years..?

You'll just have to do it and find out. Having said that, there is no evidential research backing up what you ask. AND having said that....each individual reacts differently...so it is entirely upto each one running the drug. You wouldn't necessarily react to the drug in the same way i might...

For example...a lot of folk have reported hairloss on a few drugs...and the same ones don't affect my hairline atall...

I say yes.
You feel so much better, you won't go back.
I would say that a lot of gym guys need hrt but are on cycles anyway.

I believe in judicious use of aas during life. I recovered from big time
surgery in record time due to sust and HGH.
