Is Bromocriptine effective as Dostinex (cebaser)?

I was wondering about the effectiveness of Bromocriptine compared to Dostinex, anyone here has used this med?

b-crip is not as effective as dostinex. but it still works to an extent. b-crip has a lot more side effects also. it is cheaper for sure.
i have some b=crip left over from a deca cycle, i ended up not needing it, i dont get sides from deca
b-crip also needs to be taken 2.5mg ED as opposed to dostinex which is somewhere around 0.5mg E4D
bottom line: you can use bromo, but dostinex is preferred

good advice, I looked into this and found that almost everyone had much worse sides when on bromo. For this reason I went with dostinex, no sides to speak of and no tits either, what a deal.

Sides include nausea,Severe headaches, Sinus congestion,these are some that come to mind!

I was on bromocriptine for part of my meds but I did'nt like the fact that you could only take bromo at night cause it cause your equallibrium to go haywire. The first couple of times I used it ,I bounced on the wall in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. May not happen to everyone but now the Dr. has me on cabergoline for at least 7 years.

for me, bromo curbed my appetite big time, but it also left me slightly nauseated, generally unmotivated, and, all in all, dysphoric. Good wood tho...

Haven't tried dostinex yet...

bromocriptine is stronger, both in desiderable-effects and side-effects.
In fact its side effects are so extreme you can only use them at night, and preferably each other day.
You can use much higher doses of dostinex, while keeping sides tolerable

how do you figure bromo is stronger ? at 2.5mg ED compared to 0.5mg E4D ?
