I agree. My thinning hair has caused havoc on my life.

A member here was taking gear and getting great results, but losing his hair. He stopped taking the gear... the importance of hair outweighed the importance/expense of the gear.
I really dont think dames come even close to appreciating the impact it has.

this is half the reason i started lifting weights. at age 24 on my list of credentials for becoming the next star of The Bachelor i had:
1. computer guy (fuckin' A, ladies)
2. pale skin
3. receding hairline
4. skinny and developing a gut
had to cross one of those off the list
killing off #1 - nah
killing off #2 - i either get skin cancer and end up buried in a tanning bed later in life or run around being "that orange guy" if done the safe way
killing off #3 - what can ya do? doesn't bother me all that much

that's a whole lotta money to spend on saving your hair though. chicks don't really give that much of a shit about whether or not you're bald. show up with some balls and a wicked sense of humor and they wouldn't notice if you were wearing a wig made of bananas

I don't know... I think going bald is worse. I see guys who are going bald, but are in denial... using the combover or trying to have normal haircuts, while the whole middle of their head is barren. I feel bad for these guys. Most girls I talk to immediately discount a guy if he is bald. Case closed. If I were to ever go bald... which would never happen unless I was on heavy chemo therapy I would just do the total shave and accept it. Nobody buys the skirted eggshell look.

exactly, once you go bald, you're in the bald category(TBC) "only girls that like bald guys category" you'll never know who you could have had or gotten with your hair. you are now in TBC. you'll never be the same, and you are now lowered to the 2% of women who like bald men. good luck with life

women can see that a guy if bald right off the bat. if they still chose to date them, great. however, if a woman, who has lost a breast, starts dating a guy, her "situation" is not obvious. it will take one, two, three...however many dates before that guy realizes that she only has one breast. what are the chances he'll stick around then?

there is no comparison. shitloads of men lose their hair, choose to shave their heads, etc. much of the time, it's simply a part of getting older. yes, it will make you less attractive to many women. but you're still a man, still whole and intact, because hair is not an integral part of your body (it's constantly falling out since day 1, anyway). but, if a woman loses a breast, she has lost an important physical part of what it means to be (or at least look like) a woman. sounds incredibly traumatic to me. how often do women lose a breast? is there some shedding process that i don't know about?

I'm with Gonelifting. The thinner my hair, the bigger I have to be. I've kind of resolved to only worry about the things that I have control over. A lot less stress that way.

I care more about bodyhair. I hate the fact that the same chemicals that are responsible for my head hair falling out are causing me to grow hair in my ears and on my back.
I hate hair that isn't eyelashes, eyebrows, or head hair. Even then, eyebrows can be too hairy too.
and nosehairs - don't like them either.

Having hair does NOT necessarily make a guy better looking. In fact, having hair exposes men to all sorts of possible fashion blunders. Just as with a woman, a man's hairstyle tells a lot about him, his background, education, position, etc. No hair is always better than bad hair, which would include:
1) newscaster hair - overly-styled and frozen looking
2) televangalist hair - similar to above, but w/ more bouffant quality
3) "bangs" on any male past puberty
4) mullets
5) comb-overs
6) rugs
7) bad dye jobs - esp. that flat dead brown "Just For Men" color
If it were more acceptable, I know a lot of women who would relish the freedom from their hair.

There is truth to this to a certain existent, most women don’t really care if there BF or husband goes bald, because they’re already emotionally attached and know this person etc. Now, would this same women date a bald guy or go after bald guys, or find them attractive? very doubtful. But, once you are in your 30’s and above, there are a lot more women that don’t care as much about your hair, they care about confidence, protection(money) and what you can provide.

One of my close friends had one nut. It was no big deal. None of our friends ever gave him shit about it other than the once in a blue moon one liner.
He was as normal as everyone else. Lifted weights, played sports pulled alot of chicks. It was NEVER a problem. Never an issue in ANY part of his life.
My head is not shaped well for shaving and I have a receding hairline. That`s the worst of both worlds. lol
I`m married and my wife does`nt mind. But I DO.
I don`t Squat deadlift bench diet for other people, I do it because I like to look good. It gives me more confidence in public. Same with the hair. It`s frustrating though cause there`s nothing I could do about it.
