Is anyone very sensitive to fat burners?

I've tried taking these but they make me a mess. Shaky, uptight, irritable, can't focus and I get palpitations. And this is after taking only a minimal dose. Do they just not agree with some people? I don't get like that from caffein alone. When I take them with alcohol though (I do when I'm clubbing), I don't feel any of the side effects, except for the palpitations. With alcohol they make me feel pretty good until the next day when my heart is racing.

You should probably start out with half the dose for a few weeks, and as you tolarance builds up, go to the full dose. Alot of people are more sensitive to ephedra based products. If the half dose still has the same effect, there are alot of ephedra free products out there.

Taking ECA products with alcohol isn't the best idea. I understand that there are some products oriented towards club goers that are similar, but these products, along with alcohol, can dehydrate you. So if your drinking a lot, working out, dancing, and taking ECA you can get dehydrated pretty fast.

Start taking less than the minimum dose and work your way up.

MrMemphis is absolutely right, you should never take diuretics with alcohol. Not only does it place alot of strain on your liver, but also your heart. I'm not suprised more people haven't dropped dead from this.

Anyways Metro Girl, yes, some people cannot take them. I get the same way from ephedra and green tea extract products (Green tea extract is commonly used as a substitute for ephedra - it's less effective but doesn't seem to give those "shakes" as ephedra based products do). As a result, I just clean my diet up and do lots of cardio when I need to cut, and usaully have Red Bull and Vodkas when I go out to afterhours.
