Is all this gear necessary?

Ok, so I been pokin around these boards for like 6 mos. I'm very cautious. I have used gear on three occassions, over the years. I have gained a solid 40 lbs over 4 or 5 years. Each time I used gear put on say 15-20 then lost about 5-10. I'm very happy with my gains. But i used very small doses compared to almost everything I've read. And only for 5 or 6 weeks at that. On a similar note: I have used creatine and NO to gain about 10-15 lbs. but took afew weeks longer, like 10-12 weeks, but I kept those gains. To be fair I do have good genes but i've always been lean. I know this is a gear forum, and I do use it, I'm just suggesting that I've got great results from dbol 20mg daily and one shot of test every 4 or 5 days. Which I'll be doing soon. If anyone cares, I will be taking before and after shots, and logging diet and routine. Starting next week. can anyone who does a lot of gear, honestly say they have gained OVER 40lbs in 4 years because they shoot more gear than me? I'm really not trying to be an ass, I just wonder if there are others that think usage is out of control.
 
i happend to agree with u 100%. i read the treads that people say take this,this and this for a cycle. i gained 14lbs from tbol alone and keep 13lbs. i do belive some guys have better genes so i guess thats why some have to use more gear. but 750mg of test 600mg eq and 25mg dbol? why. ive had people tell me that 250mg ew is a waste. it really depends on ur goals and expectations. my buddy put on good size with that dose and got very strong.
 
You also build up tolerences. Its definitly better to start out with small doses, because in time you will go up. Then the more you go up the more chances of sides and more money your going to spend. You have alot of people starting out with to big of doses and thinking more is better when thats not always the case.......HAPPY LIFTING.......
 
Over the yrs your receptors will build up a tolerance, i remember my first cycle Dbol only gained 25 lbs, sweet, now it's not uncommon for me to use 500-1 gram of test depending upon my goals!

Sometimes less is more and just repeating what's already been said, it all depends on your goals. If you have experienced quality gains from low doses in the past stick to low doses. To make it easy, just get a little more test than you plan to use. This way if you're not getting the results & feel you need to bump it a little, you can. Plus its always a good idea to have a little extra in case of emergencies..ie tile floor vs vial:mad:

I dont think you will get any argument about your plan here. Most bros in this forum & on this board dont condone overkill.
