Is A Guy's Height Such A Big Deal To Women?

I'm 5'7" and I do fine with woman. not trying to toot my own horn but I get gorgeous looking woman, though were shorter than I was but not all.

As for respect from men judged on height I totally agree.

Being 5'7" and having two of your good friends that are over 6'3" sucks.

I am pretty sure that taller people get more cred. I am 6'1" and have noted many moments where I got better treatment over someone else, sometimes even when that someone is is my boss. But, he's like 5'6".

It does also help that I am ridiculously good looking, so the combination of the two makes me virtually unstoppable. I am pretty confident that I'll be on the covers of GQ, Entrepreneur and Fortune simultaneously within the next 5 years.

This, of course, assuming that I don't die in a freak gasoline fight accident.

i think 5'9" is the average ht for a male. i am 5'10" and i have never felt short. 5'5" is pretty short though. it helps if you gotta a decent face and build and personality and JOB. i know plenty of tall guys who are gawky and losers.

i don't buy that your height holds you back in the workplace. if it does strike out on your own. all these studies mean nothing yet give the newspapers something to talk about. you young bucks will see that as you get older. the only thing that truly holds you back is yourself, if you let it.

Alternatively, I would rather bang a 5' 100 lb hottie any day that a fat assed ponched 6' chick for that matter...

Point is...depends on the total package...height is just one variable...

Wouldn't change it for anything.

Although putting on weight is a bitch....twenty pounds on a six foot four frame versus a five foot four frame are two completely different things.

i think a 6ft guy has an advantage over a 55 guy, but 5 9 is about average and i dont think at that height women would discriminate against your height

I will agree with this. My husband is 6ft, and I've generally dated taller men, but I wouldn't discriminate against 5'9. It really depends on how tall the female is. I'm 5'4, so all guys are tall in compaison, but one of my close friends is 5'9....she would never go out with a guy under 6ft.

I am 6'4 and love the fact that I am tall, it is kind of odd because my two close friends are 6'3 and 6'4 so it's never really seemed like I was that tall only when you go out to somewhere like the mall and you tower over everyone do you seem so much bigger.

What guards said is the fact though, it's ALOOOTTTTT easier to look huge at 5'6 than it is at 6'4, i am 240 currently and still feel skinny compared to someone that is 5'11 240 those extra inches really kill us in the "looking huge" department. Also squatting with long ass legs isn't no fun either. I guess there is an advantage and disadvantage to both however i will take being tall anyday over short =).
