Iran would be a very difficult country to invade and occupy. The terrain is hellish, it is a nation of 60 million, and they have a viable economy and industrial backbone.

There are better ways with Iran.

i doubt we would go in iran like we did in itar, but i think we will play a large role in regime change in iran. there are riots in the streets every day in iran, it's just a matter of time for the leadership there to be overthrown.

All this is to me is a little tiny seed to introduce the next phase to the world. I know how they work. This is definitely not good. I honestly do not see this ending without a world war. If one more arab country is invaded by allied forces -- for whatever reason -- on the heels of this, it's all over.

Then throw SARS into the mix. I don't think people are getting just how serious that is. The rate that it's spreading is just downright rediculous, no recourse and no they're saying it's not only speadable by air but by water and sewage systems.

The world changed after 9/11. Americans need to be willing to accept the price of war. We turned a blind eye towards countries like Iraq, Iran, Syria, and Afghanistan and let them become a threat to us. Every once in a while we have to show our strength like we're doing in Iraq. These countries will always hate us. There isn't a damn thing we can do about that. But we can remind them to fear us. Iran really doesn't want to fuck with us right now and neither does Syria or the others. Taking on Iran would be a little more difficult, but Iraq is considered formidable and we are taking them out with incredible ease. Like I've said time and time again here. Terrorism will continue to thrive if we release our hands from their throats. A lot of people predicted terrorists acts in the US because of the Iraq war. They are running scared right now and we need to keep it that way.
