using the "honor" system report your running wins totals
cheating will just fuck up the fun of the chase
the official wins are being kept I assume well "officially" somewhere/way

I won 4 yesterday,the first day

I'll add that there is a "will the dodgers win the division" thread out there that will be settled during contest month
so those few of us who bet against LA will get a W there
 
I blew chunks last night, only won 5 MLB games, six if you count the LA Angels game that hasn't been settled yet.

That brings me up to 15

If I were really trying to win the ipod I wouldn't bet on as many longshots as I do. But you are right these things are gaining a lot of attention, and I am betting a lot more often then I was in the past.

oh but we've just begun
betting baseball favorites across the board is an obvious play
but football with spreads is decidely more difficult
due to the parameters of the contest the amounts wagered are irrelevant
so swole and I are going to bring you more games
you'll have to pick the winner in the obscure college game
as well as game 7,6,5,4,3,2,1 in the world series
swole and I pledge to post only honest and fair options and no esoteric crap
but you'll get kent/ohio as well as ohio state/iowa

i won a lot yesterday, not sure the exact count, i'll do a weekly update.
 
9/23- 7 wins

total wins- 32

Here's your chance guys. I only bet on a handful of games for 9/24 because I was at work all day so I didn't have a chance to bet on all the ones I wanted to.

Damn, Lestat got me good on 9/23, everytime when we split teams he won. He's definatly 3-4 wins ahead of me now.
 
9/24- 9 wins

total wins- 41

Wow, I had a good day. I missed most of the 9/24 threads and I was worried I would fall behind. I won all my bets except 2 or 3! 2 of my wins I was the only better for that team and the other team was stacked full of betters. Makes my day to get thos fluke wins.
Watching the USC/Oregon I was so pissed that they were losing 13-0. Thank god USC came back for the win and more importantly covered the spread.
 
I honestly can't even keep it straight now, I won a lot today.

This shit is flawed. I'm happy that everyone is having fun, but still, it could have been done on a % system. If you bet 200 games and win 30, and another guy bets 40 games and wins 28... YOU WIN. lol Who is the better better? lol

Anyway, good luck to everyone, it IS exciting to watch and does bring more attention to the board.

Parameters must be met. I won't go into it in detail because it's not gonna happen... As long as everyone is having fun... it's cool.

Well that sucks.Any dip shit can bet 1 point on every bet and will prob come out on top.I think you should count the losses against the wins.

no way, I wouldn't bet nearly as many games if that was the case, I'd only bet the sure winners, and not really "Gamble" much.. would defeat the purpose of the contest which is to get more involvement.
 
i would like to get a prize!!!!! i am trying to win on stuff...george should do this every month..obviously not with the ipod but with plat memberships,karma, and tshirt shorts thongs or tanks...
helps keep karma flowing

plats can buy karma too. that's why they are allowed to be in the contest. the scheme for geroge is for more betting to occur in the bookie forum and hopefully cause more people to buy karma to keep gambling.

9/30- 2 wins*

total wins- 83

*this is what happens when you have to work and go to school, you never get a chance to bet on the games. But I have about 15 games pending for 10/1 so I'm gonna hit big on that one.
 
10/1- 13 wins

total wins- 97*

*missed a win on 9/30 so I added it to my total. (means I had 3 wins on 9/30 rather than 2)
