IP is HUNGRY

So, I need some help. I am 5'2 about 122-128lbs depending on the day - it evidently fluctuates wildly. I have been cutting for approximately 1.5 months and just started carb cycling about 2.5 weeks ago. My issue is...that i am extremely HUNGRY ALL the time and my energy has crashed within the past week..

Below are my goal numbers for each day. I'll just throw it out there and ask for some feedback! ;)

Low Carb Day

150g Protein (50%)
60g Carbs (20%)
40g Fat (30%)
Total Cals = 1200

Moderate Carb Day

135g Protein (40%)
101g Carbs (30%)
45g Fat (30%)
Total Cals = 1350

High Carb Day

131g Protein (35%)
150g Carb (40%)
42g Fat (25%)
Total Cals = 1500

Sunday (Low Carb) - Day Off
Monday (High Carb) - Heavy Weights
Tuesday (Low Carb) - Cardio (HIIT)
Wednesday (Moderate Carb) - Moderate Weights
Thursday (Low Carb) - Cardio (HIIT)
Friday (High Carb with one cheat meal) - Heavy Weights
Saturday (Low Carb) - Cardio (long: either a run or incline walking)

So, like I said, the biggest issue is very much HUNGER. But, If I just need to suck it up, so be it and please tell me so, but wow! :eek2:

Ice Princess, every try fiber pills? Fiber keeps you feeling full, just an idea.

No, never have! Not sure if I know too much about them. I will have to look into them and see if it might be an option. Do you recommend any specific brand or type?

How's your water intake?

H20 keeps me full between feedings :) ... calorie free, and it burns calories processing... what more could we want? (don't answer that, lol.)

Fat ... I found out I can practically go without carbs if I have enough fats, EVOO, EFAs (flax and/or hempseed oil), coconut oil, good old fashioned butter, and fatty cold water fish. You might want to consider upping your calories just a pinch to accomodate a tablespoon or two of extra fat??? Tweak the ratio a little bit more maybe on lower carb days ??? Say 35% ... or it could just be the KIND of fat you're using too, dear.

A starving feeling, IMO, is not good ... I really thinks it's stressful as hell to the body ...

i would have said soemthing about fat, but i seen her at 30%, your right it could be the types of FAT you are using, if the only fat is from ANP i would switch it up sometimes.

Haa - I generally get somewhere between 5-9 liters of water a day!! Not sure how much more I can drink!! ;)

It would be a heck of a lot more fun if I could answer!! :verygood:

I might have to try upping the calories! I usually use fish oil, flax meal, almonds or provolone cheese as my fat source...so fairly clean fats!! Maybe just that little increase in fat will make all the difference in the world!! Thanks MM ;)

All great Advice from the Sarge, Musclemom, and MM107! If you like Avocado's you can either add them to salad or make sort of a butter by mashing them up and adding some diced onions, lemon juice....Use it as a dip for veggies throughout the day.

Look for Fiber One Cerial next time you go shopping. 50 calories per serving with 13 grams of fiber. Add a small amount of water or milk to the cerial and microwave for 30-60 seconds, then add some splenda and diced berries. Keeps me full for hours when I'm dieting and you can have several servings throughout the day. :)

If I had access to a normal grocery store, I would be ALL over the fiber cereal!!! I LOVE IT!! I will have to try the fiber one with splenda and diced berries when I return to the states...that sounds YUMMY!!! :p :p

Thanks so much for all of your help!! ;) I think I am going to go back to the drawing board and re-arrange my calories a little, plus add in a few more carbs for each day...I am HOPING that that will help and not HARM!! We shall see...

YES, they are!! heehee

I just don't want to mess up, based on my goals. I can VISUALLY see results right now and I want to continue seeing them. I just don't know if I need to grow balls and suck it up or if something REALLY needs to change...if that makes sense at all.
