I cannot remember the name of the site that will show you the location of someone's IP address. Please help.

www.arin.net/whois

But it won't tell you a lot except his/her ISP and probably the State/province. That's it.

Umm whois is by far the least accurate method of locating someone.

Since most people register their IP through the hosting service, you only get the name/address of the web hosting service.

Not to mention whois is voluntary and most host machines don't run it at all.
