Intramuscular Fat?

I just had my bodyfat checked and my nutritionist can't get a read on my thigh. Had the same problem last year, (didn't do the show so it didn't matter much). She is worried that there may be alot of intramuscular fat "marbling". Is there anyone who has suggestions on how to reduce this paricular problem. The diet is pretty straight foward, cut sugars, trim back the carbs a bit, keep protien high, etc.
FYI The show is in May--about 20 weeks.
Currently 5'11"- 248lbs, don't know bf%.
If I didn't give enough info just ask.

The only fat that shows on stage is subcutaneous fat. In my personal experience a tight thigh (in other words can't get a skinfold) is just a sign of a very full thigh/tight skin. This is generally a good thing for bodybuilders, but I always recommend you go by how you look in the mirror! Geesh, how many guys have I tried to get abdominal skinfolds off of only to find out that they have a belly swollen like a watermelon YUCK. If they would only judge themselves honestly in the mirror, they wouldn't need someone to take a skinfold......
 
Thank you for the reply!!! I was sort of thinking along the same lines, however I have never done this before, Just a little paranoid I guess. I hope you are correct about the appearance on stage. Right now I have slight seperation on my thighs other than that pretty smooth. My nutritionist has said a rough estimate based on the tape and the 2 reads she could get that I may be around 15%bf. I figure this is a pretty good starting point for a 20 week diet.

i agree with that,use the mirror and go through your mandtory poses,i wouldn't worry about that type of fat,you will get muscle seperation in your legs as youget leaner,and remeber you still have the last 2-3 days to drop water which will give you that vascular look along with your carb up.......
