Insulin, on off cycle opinions

I have always gotten good results from post-workout insulin use. I realize it has potential dangers though most can be limited by careful planning, though newbies should not bother. That said, I have always used it between cycles, typically as I begin clomid therapy and usually up until about a week or two before I go back on. I typically dose at 20-25 ius about 30 min. before my workout is finished. I consume protien prior to the workout and consume 100g simple sugars between sets in my drink during the 30 minutes at the end of my workout. Upon finishing I get 50-75 g. of whey and consume a protien heavy meal with complex carbs 1 hours later. This routine has been very effective and I believe that the insulins anabolic properties have aided in conteracting any catabolism brought on post-cycle. My question is, how many guys use insulin in a similar way as opposed to those who use it during a cycle. Do you think the insulin would be more valuable adding to the gains of the cycle itself as opposed to helping in gains keeping post cycle and leading up to the next. I've never tried it but have thought about it many times. I don't want to remain using too long so its definitely one way or the other for me. I'd be really interested in any experienced opinions.
 
well first big difference is i use about a tenth of what you use. have you ever tried a smaller dose and see if there are any differences like is it really worth using that much?? people normally either laff or dont believe my slin dosages but once they try them at a lower dosage and keep track of progress most realize that they do not need as much slin as they thought they did.. remember a lot of the knowledge passed around here came from high level bb's looking to get any small edge over teh competition and they will do almost anything to get it..

i know i dont notice any additional benefits by using a high dose

at times i use it during cycle and at times post cycle or inbetween cycles.. it really depends

it does help a cycle and does increase gains .. i like/notice it more when using androgens (tren) and a bit less when on test

i use it postworkout as opposed to pre workout and i normally use it after my postworkout shake and take it with or slightly before my postworkout meal (1 - 1.5 hrs after training)
 
Are you saying you take 2-2.5 ius of hum. R? This is effective for you bro? I'm just surprised at the dosage. Not meant as an insult, but you're not talking about gh right? It just seems quite low. Most of the guys I know, myself included started at 8-10 ius and basically judged by our bodies response as to whether the dose should be increased or decreased? I saw the best gains and response, with little negative feedback provided I got my carbs at 18-20 ius. Some leveled out at 15, some much higher. Now I'm very curious as to the dosages most insulin uses are using. Thanks for the input.
 
yep i generally use 3ius 1hr after working out and love the results.

when i bump it up i get side effects and no additional increased recover/strength/muscle

i know it sounds messed up but i think 'regular' people expect too much from slin and that is why they keep bumping up the dosages and taking insane amount of carbs with it..

when i decided to try slin i did a ton of research. not just research that bb's cited and the research that looked like it presented the best plan was the studies i read about from russia and i basically adapted there protocol and it works great for me and i feel it is very very safe.

i know it is very different than what most people recommend but it works great for me and a bunch of people i know as well.

the dosage really depends on your sensitivity levels..a glucose meter would help in determining this..I have gotten excellent gains of slin alone bumping about 30 iu a day first in the am then 2hrs pre workout and immediately after training..10iu each time. And using it while on is wonderful if you have the discipline to keep your diet clean during slin activity times. I also have used to post cyc and once again kept a considerable amount of mass even with strength decreases..mho
 
I've used it a few times, on and off-cycle. I think it does help to keep gains in mass, though not as much in strength. Only provided your diet is sufficient though. I usually do between 10-15iu's as soon as I'm back from my workout, then slam a shake with 60g's WPI and 100g's carbs. I'll have a protein/carb meal with minimal fat an hour later, then go back to normal diet. 3iu's wouldn't touch me, I've tested that many times.
