Insecure e-mails

Retabolil2

New member
I don`t accept insecure mail. So if you`re using AOL, Yahoo, hotmail, ziplip or any other e-mail accounts to contact me then don`t expect me to reply.
I`ll reply you only if you`re using hushmail accounts.
elitefitness mail and cyber-rights.net mail is OK with me, all these accounts are secure.
Cheers
Ret

good idea
It must be a rule. Sending a message from ziplip to ziplip is OK but I`m not using ziplip so if you want end to end security then use hushmail to contact me. Better safe than sorry.

Whats wrong with Ziplip to an external service? The IP is still masked?

Yes this is an honest question.

I also thought ziplip was secure when sending to and from an elite account. One more sender I have to delete from now....people need to get SECURE accounts, it's free!

Ziplip to Elite is not secure because they don't share the same root keys. Hushmail, Elite and cyber-rights.net do and that's why you can send securely between those three domains. Ziplip is only secure to other Ziplip accounts.

Ohh, your talking encryption here, now I gotcha. Without knowing that it made no sense to me.

Max--are you saying it's EXACTLY the same security when sending "cyber to elite" as from "elite to elite" ?

Yes. And to Dr. M, you're right I should have specified that the root keys are used for encryption and is part of the encryption/decryption process.

Wonder why Zip is staying out of using the same set, probably to try and get more people to use them, make it or break it, oh well.

Its the same thing.
Both cyber and elite use the same Hush Encryption engine.
So they're basicly both part of Hushmail.

Exactly. Ziplip mail to elitefitness, hushmail and cyber-rights.net is not secure. Its not end to end security. Ziplip to ziplip is fine.
I don`t have any ziplip accounts so if you need to contact me please get yourself hushmail addy, otherwise our mail is not protected and I can`t afford it. And using AOL addy to contact me is VERY BAD IDEA. I`ll never reply.
Cyber-rights.net, hushmail.com, elitefitness.com/mail use the same hush encryption engine. I can`t send secure e-mails to ziplip users or AOL users.
