Injury question

Pretty sure I pulled my groin, dont think it is a hernia. I am just getting into the thick of my deca/primo cycle and timing couldnt be worse. Talked to a power lifter buddy who says when he has pulled his he keeps training and lets it work its way out. It doesnt kill, but I can just feel pressure and warmness when doing squats and heavy bent movements. What do you guys think, back off from those movements till it heals or keep on training normal and hope it gets better? Thanks for input guys.
 
Id say back off from the compound movement like a squat and try an altrernative like a leg press or whatever is least painful. Remember if it is painful, you need to back off, because you are doing more harm than good.
I know this can be frustrating but during the peak of a cycle but I hope this helps!
