groin injury
Drago... sorry to hear of your injury Bro.
These are tough ones to treat.
Usually a groin injury is to the adductor magnus, adductor longus, adductor brevis or gracilis. They are all as painful as hell if you tear them. A strain can also be very painful. Your level of disability will vary depending on the severity of the injury. You have a decision to make. Cut your losses and rest now and hope to return very soon 100% or keep trying to play and practice and possibly face an entire season of being injured. I would recommend the rest now-heal quickly option. Sometimes this type of injury can feel brutal only to be gone in 7-10 days.
I am not a big proponent of DMSO. I prefer to rest, ice, heat, ultra sound, electrical stimulation, massage, gentle stretching and wraps. You may also choose to use anti-inflammatories. The hardest part is shutting it down to get better. From your post I cannot give much more advice. Good luck and heal quickly!
