i hurt my arm (tricep) in hockey. i got tripped into the boards really bad. i cant lift heavy but i can lift light. would it be better to rest or lift light? any help would be great.
 
i agree glennds. it just sucks seeing your gains go to waste. oh well its easy to gain back. at least im not on a cycle. thanks glennds

Being a hockey player myself, I always would "work through" injuries... but the best thing to do is heal first so you don't injure it any more.

3 weeks out for a severe bruise is better then training and being out 6 b/c you tore it, know what I mean? :)

If your not on then rest it. You can still train legs and what not. You'll bouce back quick... your muscles remember!

How bad is it injured?
 
Hey buddie I am a LMT. You gotta get orgin 2 insersion work done on your arms. Myofacial release is another way but, this will speed recovery by weeks and allow for better gains by aligning the striations proplerly rather then runing the chance of scar tissue or adheasions to from for just "waiting" it out.

i dont think thats the case. i cant lift heavy at all. why hurt it even more. i agree i have worked through it all the time but this time i just cant. even when i lift light it hurts now so i guess rest is my best friend. it really frustrates me
 
Bro u gotta let that thing heal man. yeah it will suck losing gains. but hey .. muscle memory works wonders. it will come back quick of you let it heal up. Sorry for the injury.
 
I know where you're comming from over the years i've had my share of injuries, Rest and when you come back attack with a vengence!

excatly. and i will only be missing a week or so. not that big of a deal. it might actually help my gains because i have been going really hard.
 
Hey bro

Sorry to hear that your injured. Just wanted to ask you how the var only cycle went. I will be starting mine sometime soon. Probably around christmas, although Im thinking of adding some test in as I want my virgin cycle to a stellar one.

Try message therapy. I had a bicep injury that just wouldn't go away. 4-5 sessions with the massage therapist and it was 90% better. Rest it a week then get the message.
 
hey beech whats up. it went alright. thats all i have done is one cycle. i saw good gains. i want to try other aas but im scard of gyno man. i wouldnt want bitch tits. so i think im done for awhile anyways. i dont think var only is the way to go for a second cycle in my opinion. test would be a great idea or primo anyways. lt me know how she works out bro. Rock.
