Injection site lump

I have injected several times in by buttocks and now it seems I have a lumo in that area. It doesent hurt or anything like that but it is quite a solid mass. Any ideas what that could be ? Should I be worried?

Most likely a sterile abscess.

You should be using a 1.5" needle all the way in for glute injections.

It's a bad idea to inject in the self same spot every time. You can and do get scar tissue

Yeah its most likely a build up of scar tissue. I would move the injection site to another location.

scar tissue will build up if you continue to inject the same spot

you are supposed to rotate!

The lump should go away in a couple days. If it doesn't - you will need to go to a medi-center to get it drained. It's not particularly serious but you for the future - you should always rotate injection sites. Try to have 4-6 different sites each cycle that you rotate through

Make sure you are rotating injection sites. I wouldn't pin the same spot more than once per week maximum.
