Injection Question.

Hah, alright I know this is more of a noobie question, but here goes.

Just got through doing a delt injection, and in my craving for protein mindset I forgot to aspirate. After the shot, a little bit of blood came out quickly, not quite shooting out, and it wouldn't stop with holding a swab there for a couple of seconds. I'm used to a little coming out sometimes, and holding the swab there for a couple seconds is enough. This time it just kept trickling out slowly. Now I'm guessing I might have went through a vein, because I didn't get the cough and such associated with injecting in a vein.

So, through or in? Now... time to hit the iron and get some food for my belly... err muscles. Thanks bros.

You're fine bro, my delt shots usually bleed pretty good for awhile, dont know why, but they do, most other places dont bleed at all.

Yea you should be fine I hate going through veins makes the inj. a little painfull for me but its gonna happen you've got nothing to worry about the same thing happened to me early this week

Oh I wasn't worried about anything, except maybe wasting the gear. I just slapped a band-aid on it and called it a day. Was just curious if that was what happened... and if it was in or through. Thanks for the help bros

you might have passed through a vein. my delts almost always bleed.

I get some blood when I inject my left glute. Right glute nothing but the left quite a bit of blood. I always aspirate but for some reason get the blood on that side.

You'll be fine, nothin to worry about.

injected my quad two years back and no joke the blood squirted about three feet across the room for five secs! I was angry I had wasted 100mg of EQ!!!
