hello, i recently gave my buddy some sustanon 375, and this is his first time using the juice..well i gave him all his guidelines and he jumped the gun and did a full 1.5cc shot in the WRONG spot on his deltoid...he kind of did it about 1-2 inches lower then he should of, and now on day 6 after the shot its really red and kinda starting to turn black and blue..he complain of it being somewhat painful..and i know thats just because of the propinate..but is this going to hurt him if its turning black and blue and still bothering him?

as long as it isn't red, irritated and hot to the touch(which are signs of infection)he will be ok.have him properly educate himself on proper injection techniques.....before he gives himself another injection.1.5CC's isn't that much for a delt injection so the size wasn't an issue at all.

make sure that he aspirates before he injects to insure that he's not in a vein, sounds like he either passed through a vein are injected very close to one while injecting hence the noticeable bruising.

well..it is very red..what happens if it is infected..what does he do..he definatley cannot tell anyone in his family about it, and i really doubt he wants to go to a doctor

goto the doctor he should of known what he was doing and known the risks, sounds like he is to young to be taking steroids if he cant go see a doctor on his own

The real issue with redness is if the site is hot to the touch, if the temperature of the red area is considerably warmer than the surronding area, then there is a good chance that it has become an infection. Something you could do that is simple and removes the doubt that the area is warmer than the rest of the body is getting a digital thermometer and checkin the temp of the red area vs. the non read area, if its warmer, chances are good it can be an infection.

The red and blue to me indicates that a vein has been passed through, red/blue is brusing.......so that itself could be causing some irration. Also take a permenant marker and outline where the redness stops and watch it over time and see if the redness spreads outside of that mark....another sign......if its warmer and spreading I would suggest seeing a doctor. An infection/abcesses can be caused by a great assortment of reasons besides an injection........so avoiding going to a doctor because of fear that suspected steroid use is brought up is downright dumb!!!

tell him to ice it and use warm compresses and take some motrin. if it is not better in the next 2 days go and see a dr. if he is worreid about what htey will think he can play dumb. 'im not totally sure what it is from doc." If he is just starting juicing then i doubt he looks like he uses roids. An abscess if left untreated and tunnel under the skin and even go into the muscle cause irreversible muscle damage. It can even lead to surgery and weeks and weeks of wound care. if he doesn't mind carrying a wound vac attached to his infected area sucking out all the debris. Of course this is worst case scenario, but I have seen it many times with patients.

excellent advice (especially outlining w/ a marker)
