Injection Problem..... Need Help!!

Had my girlfriend inject EQ in left glute tuesday. Usually she does great and I cant even feel anything. This time it was a bit sharp and painful and there was a bit of a crunching noise almost like she pierced through something. She aspirated and there was no prob so she went on with injection. I woke up wednesday and there is a swolen spot where she injected the size of a golf ball its very hard. Wondering what went wrong? I didnt shower or anything before maybe muscle was tense and knotted up? Ive only had 3 shots on that side (first cycle) so it cant be scar tissue. Any ideas what it could be??

You may have knicked a nerve and/or blood vessel.

Keep an eye on the area in ?. If it doesn't improve within a few days or becomes hot to the touch then you should seek medical attention.

Length of needle used? Quality of the EQ? Are you alternating glutes? Is she alternating sites on each glute? Swelling and inflammation can occur for a number of reasons..typcially because the injection depth wasn't adequate or because of the purity of the solution.

Shower isnt always needed. I use a wash cloth and drench it in hot tap water and place on site. Do this 2-4 times and usually its RELAXED.

Are you using the same needles over again? Are you using alchol to swab prior to injection? post injection?

Did you get any blood after the needle was removed? A small bit of blood would lead me to assume you past thru a vein. This could cause a bruise and or soreness.

Using 1 inch 23 gauge pins. Drawing with one and the replacing it with a brand new one. Rotating glutes, so far ive taken 3 in the left side, 2 in the right. Using TT EQ.

Also 1" is kind of short depending on your bf% unless you’re injecting high on the glute?
Also I find this happens when you inject more on the inner side of the glute towards your ass crack compared to the outer.

the only time i ever have that "crunching" noise with pain the next day is when i have to re-use a pin,...this is probalbly not the healthiest thing to do,...but sometimes it must be done. the dull needle rips through the muscle, rather than piercing it, hense the "crunch", so just make sure your pins are sharp bro.

As stated above I draw with one pin and put a brand new one in. Always swab vile and injection area pre and post injection. BF is 7-8% so I figured 1" pins were fisable. Injecting in the outer most fatty portion of the glute. Its friday noon and there is still a golf ball sized knot in my ass. I think its dissapated a bit but not much. No pain, tenderness, or funny sensations. Im assuming I must have done something to make the muscle knot up like cutting it or something.
