he could have a point...
plus also the prep for the shot.., if you accidently wiggle the needle just a milimetre it can tear muscle then of course there will be pain and lumps..

try falling off the bed after fainting with the syringe inside your leg and waking up with it on the floor bent. talk about tearing up muscle. that shit hurt for a week.
