Please Scroll Down to See Forums Below I'm 4 weeks in to a cycle. I'm taking 3cc shots 2 times a week. Each shot is test p 100/test e 200/ eq 200. Things have been going great until last Wed. shot caused my leg to swell up so bad I could hardly bend it at the knee. Sat. shot in the hip swelled up damn good to. Now (Thur.)a week later and I'm walking around, squating and running just fine but I still have a large lump(yet smaller than last week) in my quad and hip. I'm scared to take another injection b/c I'm worried something happened to my gear b/c the previous week's shots went in real smooth. WTF could have happened to my gear. I was keeping it in the storage shed and we had a few nights last week below freezing. Think maybe it could have slightly crystalized? Hate to think it could have gotten contaminated and given me an infection. Anyway I heated it at 240 degrees for 25 min. but couldn't bring myself to take the shot yesterday. Should i trash my gear or what? THANKS

If it had crystallized you should have seen this. Sounds more like a possible bad injection. Not getting into the belly of the muscle perhaps but to have two on top of each other is a little odd. It could be a sterile abscess but sounds as though it is clearing up which is good news. You said shot in the hip, did you mean glute by this?

I just had one in my left glute that hurt like a mofo for a little over a week. There is still a small knot there and I think it's been two weeks at this point. I sat on a heating pad for a few nights for a couple of hours and that's what finally made it go away. I thought I was going to have to go to the hospital at one point.
Yeah, in the glute I meant. What is a sterile abcess? I used a 23g 1" for both. I researched on here and saw some people talk about gear crystalizing without being seen. I mixed the test p and the test e in one vial. My test p came from a larger vial that did crysatalize (can be seen).
Sounds like me. I'll go buy a heating pad. My test p is homebrew (sterile) and the test e and eq is from XXXX sachets. I think I'm going to add a little BA to everything, heat it, filter it into a new sterile vail and heat it again. This sound good.

Whatkind of Antibot and what dose for how many days. I've read I can get them from the pet store in the fish supply. All roids were oil based.

I took a Keflex but didn't keep up with it. I'm not sure it would have helped as I don't think mine was actually an infection.

iF IT'S not an infection what is it then. I hate to terminate the cycle but one more shot like that and it's over. I'm thinking I need to take smaller shot and put that heating pad on it afterwards

I'm not saying yours isn't. I asked on here because I had never had it happen to me before and the response I got was that if it;s an infection it will get worse not better and to keep an eye on it. If it gets worse get to the doctor ASAP because it is easily treatable if caught early.

If your entire leg swelled up, I am almost positive you shot near the sciatic nerve. Test P has a high BA content, and I bet this damaged some of the tissue and caused a localized response. Unless you are running a fever and the site is red and swollen, you will be fine.

I was in the exact same shoes last week bro. Keep an eye on it.
Ive done one cycle with human grade when I lived overseas. I had no problem. I think I'll stick with it from here on out....

I think a lot of guys don't "knead" the area after injections and spread out the oil like they should. For future reference, after you pin, take your knuckle and with extreme force roll it around the inject site for about 2 minutes. This SHOULD HURT! Do it as hard as you can making sure the oil is spread out thoroughly in the muscle. Infection starts when a "pocket" of oil just sits there cooking under your skin.
You can also do this to knots that form within the next couple days. It will hurt like hell but its better than having your leg amputated right?
If I get a knot, I will knuckle it down with all my strength for about 10-15 min and it ALWAYS goes away within a few hours.

something like this happened to me. i was shooting in my glute and my entire asscheek swole up and hurt so bad i couldnt even sit down. after the injection i didnt rub it which might of had something to do with it. i used a heating pad for about an hour a day before bed for a few days and the swelling went away completely after about a week. .. after that i was terrified to shoot in my glute again so i started shooting in my quad & i like it 100 times better. havent had a problem with it yet. so mybe try a different injection site? good luck

It's so much easier to pin in the quads. Complete control of the situation and it's quick and painless.
