Despite popular opinion, letrozole is my favorite AI. It's the only thing that will reliably control my gyno while on cycle without causing ED. It does suppress my libido somewhat but at least I can get an erection.
In fact, I successfully used letrozole to get rid of AAS induced gyno lumps under each nipple that been there for 3 years. That took 2.5mg/day for 4 weeks and wiped out my sex drive so badly that I coudn't stand to be touched.
I had read a study describing the results of intravenous administration of letrozole. So when my gyno started to return, I decided with letro's enormous half-life, it was the perfect AI to administer via IM injection.
I ran my 30ml liquid letro through a syringe filter into a sterile vial, baked it for 30 minutes at 200 degrees, and added 1cc of Benzyl Alcohol to keep it sterile.
Then I started injecting 0.5cc (1.25mg) weekly along with my test-e.
The result: the lump in my right nipple completely went away again with minimal impact to my libido.
For the future I plan to obtain some powdered letrozole so that I can prepare a vial from scratch. I'd do this simply because liquid letro is for oral administration and not intended for injection.
I can't say I'd recommend this to anyone else as there is always risk involved when using yourself as a guinea pig. I just thought I'd pass it along for your consideration.
