I have been on test prop eod injs and last jab two days ago went ok, now today there is a large sore red hard patch, that is hot to the touch. It is like the muscle is bruised etc. Is it infected or what guys.

that sucks bro, i noticed when i was on sust, if i shoot to low on my glute it would hurt like a bitch for days, but if i stayed on the very upper part there was no pain.

change it up 2 days a week like half and half. seems to help me and i agree on going on the shot a little higher.

Bro I hate to say it but LARGE,SORE,RED,AND HOT=INFECTION.You can try to massage the area hard with a hot wet wash rag.But I would suggest going to the Doctor now.

once that happend to my quad, it was red warm and i could barly walk the 3rd day but it went away. i think i didnt inject deep enuoph. 3rd day was the peek for the pain if it didnt start to go away the next day i was probully gona go to a doc. its funny cause now im afraid to shoot there.

I'd see a doctor but all they will do is give you penacilin, so if you can get a hold of some just take them and you should be fine

Here is the thing with the abcesses. When you stay on a long cycle you can greatly reduce your white blood cell count. Thus, increasing your chance of infection because the body fights them off with white cells. I have had three abcesses so my knowledge of this came at a painful price. I have one very bad scar on my thigh. That one had over 300 ccs of puss that had to be removed. It was the size of a grapefruit. Now the intial swelling can often be caused by the body reacting to benzyl alcohol. This swelling may disipate. If it does disipate watch for a small hard spot in the area. Keep watch to see if it increases in size. If it does start to get bigger it will grow exponentially and in a week you could be in the same boat as me. If the redness stays and it is hot to the touch for more than 5 days, I would get a dr. to look at it. If you have to do that be sure to tell them it is an injection site and you are on juice. Don't make them figure it out.

To give you some comfort, I should tell you that I have had maybe a hundred or so injections that swelled up terribly and were very sore. Of those three turned into abcesses. All my abcesses were from winstrol which is water based and this increases the posibility for such an ailment.

I have found a way to make the swolen injection site(non abcess) decrease and reduce the pain. Ice pack for 45 mins and then heat pad for 45 mins. Do this repition at least three times. This has worked for many of my cohorts in the same situation
