hey guys.

I am inheriting a truck.

a 1991 gmc sierra RWD 305ci v8

the truck is a shortbox stepside regular cab, a pretty small truck, and the truck has only 40,000 originaL kilometers, do you think the truck will have decent balls, or will it drive like a oldsmobile with 300,000kms?

I just wanna know if it will have decent pickup seeing as the truck is so small.

if anyone knows how these trucks go i would love to know, thnx

2wd Short box reg cab V8 chevys Kick ass bro. It would be nice if it was the 350 but it will still have decent balls. You can get alot of aftermarket parts to improve the performance. get a Chip, intake, exhaust, power pullys, maybe headers if you can and it will haul.

I am a huge fan of reg cab short box GM trucks. Mines the shit, it hauls ass and drives like a cadillac.

A 305ci isn't too bad a little bit of a dog but hay its free thats all that matters.. Whats nice is you can drop a 350ci in with no problems.

The Chevy Thunder blew those trucks out of the water. They had 450HP with the 5.3L

Oh, well a '91 305 probably won't be that fast at all. Something like 18 or 19 seconds in the quarter mile. I'm assuming maybe 0-60 in 10 or 11 seconds.

oh don't get me wrong it think trucks are great, i currently have a '02 Ram reg cab 4.7 V8 4x4 and my second car was a '95 Ram reg cab 5.2 V8.

I really didn't get into racing until i got my trans am 2 years ago, but i traded it in for my current truck.
