1st and 2nd day ofter inj. the spot was real sore and swollen today is day three and i can feel a lump in the sore area and it is a little red. today i took cipro to see if that would help. how long would you wait to see if it is getting bette before you went to the doc?

the inj was 2ml of qv enth

Ohh man. I would put 1ml of qv enanthate in my shoulder and it looked like someone beat me with a louisville slugger. I wouldn't worry just yet. that stuff is painfull esp. if its the 50ml version.

Ok your fine as long as it is just a little warm to the touch, and a little red. But if it starts to get real warm, and redness starts to spread up or down or both ways from the spot that you injected you need to go to a doc or Emergency Room ASAP. I am sure you know this as well but the faster you catch a infection the better in every case, so if your gut is telling you that you need to go then don't wait go. I am a EMT and we went on call to a 65 year old man who was diabetic and he has been giving himself shots in the abdomen with the same needle that he had been using for 1 month he told us. We guessed that he formed a infection about 1 week before we seen him and he had chunks taken out of his stomach like a peace of meat. But redness and soreness is not always a infection.

Just be careful and don't freak yourself out you will know if you need to go see a doc because it will hurt like HELL!!!

An infection would take more time to develop. Most likely its the depo or bolos effect of these drugs doing the problem. Continue with the Cipro and get on with your traing/
