I do these as the 5x5 leg exercise. Where should I be putting my feet?

(Yeah, Squats, I know. Save your breath. I am doing these 2x10 until I get the weight up enough at proper form to make this the 5x5).
 
Placing your feet lower on the plate will involve more of your quads, higher up will involve more of your hamstrings.
 
I place mine in the middle. Shoulder width.

Of course, middle is all relative. I do know that on one leg press made by Icarian, their foot platform is actually bent. It is designed in a 45 degree angle. Unfortunately, the "zone" where my feet are suppose to go are exactly where the two halves (top and bottom) of the platform meet.
