Incline bench strength vs. flat bench strength...

Was wondering what your guy's incline and flat bench numbers are...trying to figure if there is a correlation between the two and at what ratio they should be at.
Thanks.

they are positively correlated but its highly subjective..if your goal is mass then dont worry about how ar apart they are just work in increasing both with good form..Inclines will help your flat not the other way around

Well I do believe there is a ratio that it should be...any ideas?
Thanks.

more than likely if you inlcude a large sample you can come up with a fairly accurate ratio..the same way if you look around your gym their are prolly only so many people that can bench 315 (with proper form) and the number will drop off significantly the higher you go..

it would be easier if you stated why you are curious about it? Also i see most people who start out with flat bench and then go to either incline BB or Dbells so obviously if doing inclines as your second move youre not going to be able to use the same weight..

If you got them to equal easch other youd prolly have a nicely developed chest

Reason I ask...I need to increase my bench significantly...well, dont we all? heh...anyways, I have almost always had a very weak incline, but today, like I havent done inclines in a couple months probably, I repped out 205 for 5 reps...A couple months ago I could only do like maybe 155 5 times...I dunno what caused this sudden increase in strength, but I am interested in what my flat bench is now...So I wanted to compare other people's incline to mine and what their benches were...
Thanks.
