inasnest dosage of r-ALA used on ~4000 cal diet w/ moderate carbs

wondering what high doses some have used on 4K or so diets with a decent amount of carbs to ward off fat accumulation. i figure ALA is the best way to eat more and not gain fat.....but also don't want to waste money taking in too much. so looking for upper limit dosages.

yeah, i'm trying 1000mg i think. i am paranoid over the fat gain back thing. i'll be on plenty of anabolics that tend towards fat loss (EQ/Tren....even sust) and was looking into the natural route as well. r-ALA was the first thing that came to mind as well as the usual flax/EPO/CLA fats. didn't want to use clen or stimulants due to appetite decrease. is plain old white rice actually a decent carb? i can chow on that at work anytime i want....and of course would chase it with r-ALA...wasn't sure how good of a carb it was though.
 
I took 2000mg at once to see what would happen... didn't bother me at all. I regularly take 1200-2000 per day.

I've found, though, that I can get away with 1000 per day easily and don't really need more.

yeah, if you can get away with 10 caps why take more? gets pricey then. so that is good news that 10-12 caps yields similar resulsts to 20 caps. AF need to get on paypal BTW speaking of us two here who likey paypal. lol. :D

Your better off with brown rice, its a lower glycemic carb.

i find carbs to be....lets just say...problematic for me. lol. my arms and back and a few other parts of my body are that low in BF% looking...but the lower abs seem to be in a BF% of their own. :D

Yep. I agree on the upper end of the spectrum. 2000mg r-ala
for mega carb days.

Any more is a waste. 3000mg r-ala/day vs 2000mg r-ala
yields comparable results.

If carbs are kept in relative check(1g/lb), r-ala dosage need not exceed 1000mg/day depending on your insulin sensitivity.

What he said. And I never thought I'd agree with Fonz on any dosage of anything, including water :)

On cheat day I take about 700mg just with my Papa Johns. I also take 400mg with my post-workout shake of ca. 80g CHO. HOWEVER, I'm not prone to hypoglycemia. When I have zero carbs I take 100mg with a protein/fat shake because I've found it keeps me in ketosis, even if I'm not on a ketogenic diet. I know it makes no sense but it works for me.

I got in the habit of double dosing for cheat meals. I'd take 400mg before a meal... then 300mg 45-60 minutes later. It seems to work great.
 
so i need 7 bottles for my 10 week cycle then. hey ulter...how about discounts for larger orders.....:D.......
