In need of prayers...

My prayers are with you. My 82 year old father just went through this three weeks ago. My Sister and all three of her daughters are RNs. One of them had worked at the Debakie Center in Houston where my father had his surgery. It was esspecially hard on them. By the way, He is doing great. I am sure your GF will be doing well soon. God bless you.

Fly Girl...my 83 year young Grandmother had a tumor removed last year. And she is having some serious problems right now...taken to the Emergency Room last Tuesday...so I can relate.

Your grandfather, as well as yourself, will be ever present in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm with the guys here.
Plus my Grandmother also my only grandparent left is on the launch pad too. Although this is effecting my mother very bad and it's her I'm more worried about here.

All the best to your grandfather.

My grandad had the same surgery a couple of years ago and he´s still alive´n kickin´. I´m sure he´ll be alright :)

My prayers to you and you´re family.

I really, really appreciate everyone's prayers. I, too, prayed so much last night I was afraid He was getting tired of listening to me!!!

My mom called me this morning and said that his surgery was scheduled for 6:30 am central time....she was crying. She also told me that when she got my granddad all packed up last night to leave for the hospital, he was crying and hugging his dog. That just about tore me up.

Again, thanks for all the prayers...I will give an update as soon as I find out the results of the surgery.

You all have helped me a great deal. Thank you!

I know that it sounds hard sometimes. Trust in God. What must be done will be done, and for a reason.

This is so hard to take in and embrace sometimes. Whether it be love (Which I have just experienced.), death, or anything. The feeling of loss leaves us moments that sometimes we believe we're diminished to no more than an empty shell. Remember that even when you're feeling alone and scared, there is someone standing right beside you... waiting for you to raise your hands to the sky and unleash all that is withering inside of you, and surrender yourself to him.

Under God, "loss" is non-existant. He will wipe away the tears and offer solace unlike any other.

Let me assure you, that regardless of what happens, your grandfather will always be alive and with you. As is so often said, "Have faith." - Things will be OK when all is said and done.

Be strong. You are not alone. EVER.

You're in my prayers, sister.
