Whenever I read a newb post which consists of questions regarding their first cycle, I get a little pissed about some of our replies to them. The biggest tongue-in-cheek reply is, telling them to hold off on the gear until they reach their natural genetic limit through trainning and diet.

PLEASE! If all of us followed that little advice, there wouldn't be half of the vets on this board! I mean, don't get me wrong, that's some very sound advice, but not the case with the majority(myself included). We all use this shit for an advantage or edge. So, I guess I'd like to see a picture of one of these Bros, before they got on the gas, who claim they hit their genetic limitation through training and diet alone. Give us all a good look @ what the "perfect" roid candidate should look like before they give it a go!

Just curious here. You equate vet statis with using gear? Because I know many guys that are Natty and I would consider a VET.

Ok, gear using Vets then. I've said it before, I go by a persons knowledge when cosidering them a vet, not how long they have been a member. There are alot of Bros with serious knoweldge, who have been members less than a year etc..
Vet or no Vet, I think it is hypocritical to try and discourage the use of steroids when you use the shit yourself. I think there are some instances when we should like teenagers. but in a nutshell, if a bro is in his upper 20's, been training hard and eating right for a number of years, then what the hell?
I think, if those things are in place, save the lectures and provide him with the info he needs. Simple as that.

i give u credit for speaking ur mind bro...i sometimes think similar things but i havent been around here long enough to know the guys and when they started or what they looked like before they start juicin

Ive notcied allot of newbs in general just run gear to say theyve done it....and in my personal experience...before I touched anything..I read all about the compounds...I for one dont tell people to wait for their genetic limits just their knowledge limits...and on the other hand..reading can only teach you so much..as I learned more than ever from a compound after using and seeing how I personally reacted to it.. thats just me though...and to boot there are only a few people on this board that I would even consider vets with Truly knowledgable advice....to each his own

I agree, Bro.

i agree with what you say but i will also say this, when i give advice and i feel maybe they arent ready for juice i usually give the old disclaimer they should wait and what not but then i give them the advice as if they would still cycle anyway cuz alot dont acre what we say and they are just going to do it regardless so id rather see them at least get some advice on doing it the "right" way.........

on another note its people who run things and arent ready then do something stupid (assault) and blame it on gear and roid rage, these are the people that bring what we do a bad name.....

I would say 'training for a couple years hardcore' is an appropriate bar to set before AAS usage.

We all know the reasons as to why its unwise and unnecessary for a n00b to use AAS
and they are good ones ... it's also good to have the stricter attitudes here that we do have...as a community I think we do a good job of managing ourselves... most of us are appropriately cautious, educated, etc... rather impressive for an un-regulated situation.

yes this is spoken true. we are a bunch of hardasses on newbies... but guess what ? it's called paying your dues. i agree we are hard on them, but i also agree that after we tell them they are not ready, it is our responsibility to give them the correct answer to question since we already know they are going to do it. very few will have their minds changed once they've decided to join the dark side. but as our apprentices, they must take the jibs and pokes that come their way, or how else will they earn the right to ride down on a newbie one day when they themselves become more of a vet...
yes, most of them are not ready. i probably wasnt either, but i had trained for 7 years natty, and not getting any bigger (diet was a big part of that, i did not know much about diet back then) but we've all been guilty of things like that...
