Bro...I can tell you have the right attitude, just don't have the knowledge to get where you want to be. You're in the right place, stick around here and read and read and read. You'll start to pick it up in no time.
Like the guys said, eat more and work on compound lifts (squats, deadlifts, bench press, military press, pull-ups, dips, etc...exercises that involve 2 or more joints). Fuck shrugs, pec flyes, and shit like that...stick to the heavy lifts.
You don't have to eat 6 big meals every day...just keep track of the calories you're eating now...and if you stay at the same weight, up the calories. Let's say, for example, you're taking in 3000 calories a day now, and you haven't gained or lost a pound in a week. Start taking in 3500 calories, and you'll be in a positive energy balance of about 3500 calories per week, do this for a couple months and you'll start puting on some quality mass.
Just keep reading bro...and you'll start seeing some good gains, trust me.
if you have any questions feel free to shoot me an email.
