important question... about hummers... why is it that

why is it that insects fly towards the light but not towards the sun??? shouldnt they fly toward the sun and all die off? if your answer is because they dont come out during the day then why not? if they like light so much they should be out all day!!!

i guess this was about buzzers and not hummers..

or as they fly up they sense differences in pressure/temperature.

Perhaps for the same reason that humans are attracted to bright lights [Vegas Strip, Nudy bars, ect]. Maybe it has something to do w/ the UVs or that the bugs are just too fucking lazy to fly that far. Either way I hope lightning bugs stick around, so I have something to swing a wiffle ball bat at when it starts to become dusk.
