I don't know where he gets ground buffalo - but I know at Bread and Circus here (sort of a health food/granola head supermarket) you can get ostrich meat and muffalo and just generally really good meat - which is funny b/c it is a health food store so there are a lot of vegetarians. but the ones that eat meat want good stuff I guess.
as for a 1000 cal shake, when I put on most of my weight, I was drinking 2 1000 cal shakes a day, and for awhile I was mixing them with weight gainer stuff, so it was closer to 2000 cal shakes. now I have one a day and it is about 1000 cals.
not sure what frack uses, but mine are:
24oz 1% milk
45-65g protein (take your pick of what company)
1tbs flax seed oil
3tbs amino fuel
3-6tbs vanilla flavored stonyfield yogurt
a bananananananana
some frozen strawberries
(and sometimes a balance bar too)
I think that is it. you could use ice cream if you want to get the cals up even further.
