Threre's no point to it, and there never really was in the first place....it serves no point other than to pass out into the midst of an empty evening. I seriously don't understand the attraction to it. Alcohol is meant for moderation at most. Fuck this, my college days are done for good.

Yeah, well it can take over your life if you let it and you make really stupid decisions if you drink too much. I hated waking up and realizing how much of an ass I was and the things I said or did. Just wasnt worth it anymore so I did what most people do at that point and quit, keep doing it despite the consequences then youre an alcoholic

Yeah, that sucks. I dunno, I guess I just see my grandfather and my uncles and aunts (my mothers side) as they are all alcoholics, and i just know that i dont wanna be like them. It just seems like a waste of life.

I made that decision about a year after college. It's tough. I don't have the self control to actually go out to bars often and not drink, so the decision means I have to not go out as often. It's also very difficult for my peers to understand, when they go out and get all classless and sloppy every weekend cause they just don't want to let those college years go.

I only had 3 last night and I couldn't sleep at all. Miserable, bad dreams. Probably because I take an anti-anxiety medication, but I don't feel any more intoxicated, just can't sleep at all.

I've realized this a few times over the years, actually. And the fact that it's all anyone ever does at night at my old college doesn't help either. It's fun at first, but I can tell when I've had too many. But I'll be out of the college scene soon. I have some buddies in another town who know how to drink in moderation, and they've also graduated. I'm glad to be moving on as well.
