Im Scared To Wax My Chest !!!!!!!

Well like i started using nair but shit that was pussy. Then i tried waxing but i got a problem where i got these small red lumps on my chest and they lasted about 2 months. I got no idea what they were cos ingrowns shouldnt have lasted that long? could it have been acne? i had some bad effect and got acne???
Has anyone else had anything like that happen when waxing? because i wanna try waxing again but not if these bumps are gonna come back and last months.

i've had bad experience with certain waxes, and good with others.
even at a salon, this chick waxed me once but gave me a little container of something (she wouldnt tell me what it was, smelled like vinegar) and said that the next day i would have a bunch of red bumps and to put it on then, i did so and the bumps went away right away and it was perfect.
went back to that same salon and a different chick waxed me.. same wax and whatnot i assume but she didnt give me anything to put on the next day (i asked about it but she didnt know anything about it).. got all red bumps

i can only recomment trying a different wax and maybe rubbing some alcohol on the day after.
