i love snow

Most of the North East (in the US and Canada) has been hit with this cold front.
Won't last...this weekend will be warm and sunny.

I hope. I know April isn't warm but I'd love it if it COULD start warming up. LOL.

Chicago's weather you NEVER know. Still sad. LOL.

I'm sick of the white crap too.

I think I'm even sicker of all the damn potholes 'round this town even more.
Omg. Yes, potholes. I HATE those. And my car is low to the ground so I constantly have to swerve around them to avoid them. Grrrr..

Denver is going to get some snow on friday. Hopefulyl the snowy trend will keep up in the mountains for this weekend... I'm going to see Kid Rock after snowboarding all day at Vail on Saturday. I think beefcake28 is going to get drunk and snowboard at vail also this weekend.

Damn things will swallow ya whole round here. I'm sure the Windy City has 'em bigger than Texas. :)

I'm not sure but in certain areas they are really bad. Some places they are taken care of. But where they are bad, they are REALLY bad.

I try to avoid those areas. LOL. Good thing my car is all wheel drive since she's so low.

Well, at least by the time it's my birthday (first week of May), it's usually warmer. That's always nice. Oh dear, I probably just jinxed myself.

In Chicago, it isn't too unlikely for it to snow in April, but I'm still sad. I really want the warmer weather, already. They are saying 1-3 inches.

*sniffle*

:bawling:
I was just about to start a thread about the mid-April snow storm. This is really pissing me off. My - normally 20 minute drive to work - was over an hour this morning. People in ditches everywhere. It's funny how quickly people forget how to drive in the snow.

SO - where are you in Chicago?

A few friends of mine live over there - Maybe you're a friend of mine.

I am a suburbanite. I live in Cary and work in Schaumburg.

Haha. I am not out a lot though. I was raised in Morton Grove (a suberb 20 minutes north of Chicago) and I still go back and forth between my mom's house and my dad's house. My dad just moved back into the city about a year ago when he got re married. I love the house and the area but I still like the burbs since that's what I'm most used to. Plus my b/f is out here, too.

Great area though. I'm always out walking my dogs. :)

That's the plan... Snowboarding + concert + beer = Good times.

Not today. Damn snow. I am looking out the window right now - YES, my new corner office has a window over looking the pond (point - I AM the man) :) - and this really fucking sucks. I'll be heading to the city this afternoon for a meeting. I should leave now.

I hate winter weather in the spring. Don't mind it in the winter though. And I hate all this damn rain, means I have to mow more.
