I put a pony tail in my daughters hair for the first time this morning. All by myself too. She told me she was proud of me.

Congrats!! When I was little and my mom was out of town, my dad brought me to my grandma's before school. lol

On a goofy note, my mom styled my hair every morning until I was just shy of 17. At that point she got quite sick of it and declared that I had to do it myself. I didn't know how to put a ponytail in my own hair until I was 18.

I have to admit it came out better then expected. I've tried several other mornings but gave up. When I got done this morning she ran over to the mirror and said, "Daddy I look so pretty, I'm proud of you." She gave me a hug and kiss and said Santa will love it. (My dad is playing Santa at her school today).

My sister use to do my hair for me. She hated me...She pulled my hair into a pony tail soooo tight I could not move my head from side to side( it would pull those short hair's out and hurt like hell if I moved during the day!) I walked arounf with a stiff frickin neck all day!

Could also explain why the kids in school thought I was from China..My damn eyes were even pulled tight from her pony tail's! Instant face lift at the age of 9!

Vix that is great!! My sister did the exact same thing when I was a kid. I had long naturally curly hair, and she would use a teasing comb and comb it so hard until the curl was gone. My head still hurts thinking about it.... Glad to hear my sister wasn't the only one that was evil...
