just kidding; it is very obvious from looking at his physique that he is not.:)

However, he did hit some crazy prs tonight. He also had apparently been up since 3 am studying.

180 power snatch - PR

275 jerk - this was done after a triple with 220 and a double with 250; it went up like a joke (I had to look at the bar twice to make sure we loaded it correctly). Crazy PR

stones

series 308 to 48" and 324 to 48" - PR

series 210 to 56", 232 to 48", 244 to 48", 285 to 48" and 308 to 36" - PR

I took it easy tonight; felt beat up after some hard workouts and stayed up late last night watching wilie on Letterman; just did some a few sets of snatches up to 205 for a triple, some overhead up to 220 for a triple and a few sets of 5 with 315 front squats. Then fooled around with the grippers for a while and watched Linder load stones.
 
dam all that weight and your only doing a 180 power snatch? When did you start doing them? The rest of your lifts are great bro, so dont take this the wrong way.

he just started doing them not long ago. However, it is typical for your snatch to be about 75% of your clean. Linder's clean lags his jerk by a little (it is probably about 260), but he has an exceptional jerk. Otherwise the lifts are exactly as you would expect (his max power snatch would probably be about 190 or so based on the ease with which he got the 180), which is 75%. These are good numbers for a 200 lb guy who has not been doing this that long.

What can you power snatch? With a 255 clean, and 455 deadlift, I can't imagine it is a whole lot more than 190 or so. I'm not trying to be a butt; just curious if your numbers fall outside the norm ratio.

I don't see too much of a discrepancy here, though I could be wrong. I feel like the strength of my snatch is pretty well-proportioned to that of my clean, both of which are moving up pretty consistently.

How do your snatch and clean compare?
 
damn linder...you are a monster on those stones now...holy crap thats some major improvement since begining of the summer..keep up the hard work man..its really payin off...cant wait to see ya in boston
