I'm going to Phoenix this weekend

Man come to scottsdale to see and get some of the hottest chicks. what type of place do you like to hang out at. I can refer you to good places because i have lived here 4 ever and am a concierge at a local scottsdale hotel.

75-100 in the desert = perfect. i miss the low/no humidity and the lack of rain, but i don't miss 120+ days.
 
yeah 90-100 at night here is no problem...

it has been cool and stormy most nights lately tho...
 
i rode through Phoenix a few times. on one trip, i was completely roasting inside one piece leathers and a full face helmet. i pulled over for gas and a big bottle of water. drank half the water, poured the other half all over my shirt, front and back. i figured it would cool me off a bit while riding.

got back on the road. less than 5 minutes later, i was completely dry again. that was one shitty riding day.
 
I hated Arizona's climate. Scenery was great though. Locals were kinda pissy.
I never went into the cities...
 
I'm weird, but I love the weather here. HOT all the time, nice and dry. I actually prefer the weather in Phoenix to San Diego. I like wearing shorts and a T-shirt all the time.

I'm meeting up with Becoming orb for lunch. If anyone else in Phoenix wants to hang shoo me a PM ASAP, I am leaving tomorrow.
 
Got to hang with Becoming bor today, was very cool and further goes to show that not EVERYONE on EF is a complete freak.

Yo Becoming, sorry I didn't call again later tonight, I just got in, I was down on Mill all night, started out at Starbucks, then hit the Piano Bar, then finished it off at The Library. Hope you had good time, sorry I didn't get to meet the Mrs. Next time I'm out here I'll let you know.
 
I may be back there again next month, I'll let everyone know.
 
So how was your drive down to tempe? LOL "hey what is the easiest way to get to mill?" Actually I don't know how your skills are - so I was kind of worried you make it alright....

That is cool, the wife was feeling a little sick later that day, so she wasn't down to go out anyways...

Dam orbs, EF faces are getting placed to handles more often lately. I met up with Bran this weekend too, he's in Cali on biz. We got drunk like a mofo.

SoreArms - Maybe oceanside in Sept - I got to see if my bench shirt comes back in time tho and if any of my other buddies are down for the trip... it is to close to call as of date...

Curling- No bike yet bro.... working on some other priorities right now... It may be in the works sometime in the next year or so depending tho...

I've been driving in Phoenix since I was 16... and in those 11 years the freeways systems and everything have changed (gotten more complex).

I usually take the 10 to get down to mill... but wasn't sure how exactly the best way to go from 75th and camelback was.. I got there just fine, took Hayden down, righ on university.. then bam, was right there.

I ended up going back there later that night too and just took the freeway. every place was pretty much packed that night, the library had a line around the block.

Keep me posted on your potential trip out here. The drive isn't bad at all.

curling - depending it will either be a great idea or not I will know in about 6 months or so...

lestat - cool - I will keep ya'll posted if the oceanside thing happens... I am sure the bars were packed - everyone just came back - i bet there was lots of fresh meat walking around... :D

Yeah, lots of HOT chicks around, I had zero game though, was hanging with the ex.
 
I forgot to mention this on the phoenix thread. Have you or lestat ever eaten at that sushi bar across from the billet bar on old scottsdale rd. Man, I can't remember the last time I saw so many fine I am talking fine looking chicks in one place.

I think it is called RA.... it is pretty popular for happy hour and for sushi as you say... (sake bombers rock btw)

You can pretty much spin around at random and walk in whatever direction you stop at, and you will find a bar with hot chicks here....

Lestat - that is too bad - next time you should try to take advantage while you are here next time ;)
 
Funny you should mention saki bombs. I tried my first one at my favorite sushi bar in texas with the owner of the restaurant. He told me how to do it where you count down 3...2...1 and yell BONZAI then you hit your fist nest to the beer with the chopsticks holding of the shot of saki above the beer causing the saki to fall into the beer before you slam it. What he didn't tell was not to slam your fist down to hard. Which result in beer and saki going all over me, my wife, the owner and about 6 people behind us sitting at a table minding their own business. I also YELLED LOUDLY BONZI which caused about half the restaurant to see my goof. Me, my wife and the owner just started laughing...what else could we do?
 
LOL... I usually hit 3-4 in a row and THEN go on my rampage...

I wouldn't do that bonzai stuff tho...

Dude talking to you was cool, that combined with the fact that I spent the weekend going through my late grandfather's old medical stuff (he was a Dr. in Phoenix for 30 years) has got me thinking about how I could send myself to med school....

getting in is the hard part really...

yeah exactly.

I've looked into it before.

It'd take me getting accepted to a good post-bac program, I'd need 18-24 months of school... THEN I'd have to see if I can ever get accepted to med school.. some post-bacs have linkage agreements that guarentee admission to a certain med school if you meet certain requirements.. but otherwise its usually less then 50% of people in the post-bac programs that actually get into med school... tough odds.

If you can find something like this it would be worth it... the admissions process almost makes it not even worth it in $$ and time and hassel... (not really but it feels like it)

yeah.. the schools that do this aren't the best med schools though.. but I guess that doesn't matter really to me at this point.

I hear ya on the admissions process.....

but even if I were to get in, there is a lot of work to do in med school and then residency! I guess since I've seen a few close friends do it now I don't feel as intimidated.
