I'm going to be mean from now on...

I think life would be much easier if I were mean. I'm always doing good for others and going out of my way, never to feel appreciated.

So tonight, I'm out. I find a cell phone, I bring it to customer service. The women takes it and doesn't say a thing. I walk back to where I was and I see a women is FRANTIC. I go up to her and say, "did u lose your cell" She says "yes" I say, I just found it and gave it to customer service. She DID NOT even say thank you.She just walked away!
What the fuck?????! Next time, I'll take the cell and use it as a soccer ball or keep it and put 10000$ of long distance on it!
No more Mrs Nice guy! Stilletto I need some tips ;-)
By the way......fuck all of you.

F dat. it's more than just one ungrateful person......and I've been a friggin angel for years and have had enough bad karma to last me a lifetime. I knew I should not have stole $1 from my Mom's purse when I was 10.

For all the good I've done, Karma should let me win the lottery this week.......
 
See I wouldnt be bothered by that kind of situation. id be happy knowing I helped someone and I dont need recirprocity to feel good about my actions. You cant really judge people in situations like that anyway. You said she was FRANTIC so she isnt thinking clearly. She had one thing in mind - finding her cell phone. So her manners went out the door, who cares>?

Smurf, I'm always helping people. And really, one has to be DAFT to not say THANK YOU when frantically looking for something they lost.
Seriously, not being curtious is a character flaw! Maybe she forgot, but she saw me 3 more times after I told her and she still did not come up to me.
It pissed me off tonight b/c I'm sick of rude people!

MY Dad was in Florida back in the 70's. And a girl was being attacked by a shark (it caught her foot), My Dad bashed the shark, and saved the little girl who was close to drowing. There was a huge ruckus and everyone was watching, but the girls mom.
My Mom went to found the girls mom and brought her over and told her what happened. The Mom grabs the kid and doesn't even say THANK YOU to my DadMy Dad's friend went up to her and said "He just saved your kids life" She replied "So, he was.obliged to do it"

Also, my boys have nearly double the food bill I have so I should shut my yapper.

I know...not much huh! I don't eat really any meat besides chicken. I eat like a bird and I live alone. I also stock up with stuff is on sale. So my fridge is never empty.
When my b/f stays over I buy more, but when I was single, I would maybe buy 60-80$ a month.

Aniamls are $$$! When I had 6 cats, my food bill for them was 100$ a month.

Like I said above, I don't buy any meats (once a month at Costco I buy chicken) which adds the most to grocery bills.

personally, iv decided not to be meaner, but to actually be NICER.

my goal is to be as nice as possible, while feeling as little guilt as possible. i always feel guilty about stuff, even stupid shit.

just get your nice to guilt ratio real good and youl be alot less stressed

On my way into my physical therapist today, some fucking douchebag CUTS ME OFF as I reach for the handle to the door. This fucking dickhole nearly knocks me down as he bolts through the door. I say, "hey asshole!!!" He goes, "oh...sorry." I'm like, "are you fucking crazy bro??? Did you not fucking see me?" He comes back and tries to hold the door. I'm like, "Bro, fuck off...thanks for the pity, but I got it." He refuses to make eye contact. What a dick.

That's insane how rude people are. I saw some kid do that EXACT same thing to a blind kid w/ a cane @ school last week. The door was inches from smacking the kid in the face. I was right behind him so I caught it. I made the kid who cut him off let a drop of pee come out i think lol. I'm not a bully at all never have been, but that fuck deserved it lol. (my little sister is blind) So i guess I'm extra sensitive about it.

Next time someone does that just walk up to them, get their attention and say "BTW, you're welcome" and walk away before they respond.

If you're feeling extra bitchy - look them dead in the eye 3 seconds first and say it with your hand lightly place on their forearm or shoulder and say it like you're telling them that their favorite pet just got run over by an ice cream truck.

This is how I'm becoming.....My stress level has been so high as well. I'm not just annoyed but feel so yuck a lot that I can't deal.

And the guy not holding the door, well that was pretty messed up.
I recalled last night what I read in a book once…when others are inconsiderate, they could have just lost a job, a loved one or had another tragic event happen and they just don't think.
The women who didn't say thanks could have just had a really bad day. As the guy who didn’t hold the door open.
I have tons of bad days, but would always say THANKS, but I'm sure I do other rude stuff I may not even realize.
I'm humble today

i agree about the kinder place.

i catagorize people into two types, the ones that are able to care/rationalize other people's feelings, and those that arnt.

when the first pisses me off, i explain to them why, tell them i need space, or talk to them about it.

when the second pisses me off, i tell them to shut the fuck up, im going to smash their face in, fuck themselves and their mothers, etc.

both are VERY effective, but only to their respective groups.
