i got these thin lips just like my dad
so Im going to get them plumped up a bit with Restalyne injections
i think it's going to hurt

Don't get too much! Most women look worst off after.. they look like ducks. I think a little will be fine though. Can't wait to see the after! I have thin lips too but afraid to look like a duck.

Yeah Im going with one vial for this time around. It's supposed to last for about 6months. So we will see how it turns out.
 
Most people that go to competent professionals to get such cosmetic enhancements done don't scream - COSMETIC SURGERY NIGHTMARE!!! LOL that is the whole point, to look like you, just a bit "better".

Can't wait to see Smurf... bet Lumberg will wanna be all over that! :lmao:

I hear ya... my ex said the same when I wanted to get my boobs done and all the icky loose skin removed from my abdomen. It made me feel better that he said with his lips, "I love you the way you are" but then made me self-concious enough the rest of the time that I wouldn't let him see me naked after I had our second baby. Personally, I think he just didn't want to spend the money. But after I had them both done he had NO PROBLEM saying, "Damn baby... I sure like bangin ya better with *this body*." It was undeniable, I looked waaaaaaaaaaaaay better (as opposed to the 65 year old nekkid national geographic body I had before).

If you are specific with the doc that you want to look totally natural then they should be able to accomodate you. Nothing wrong with a little nip/tuck here and there if you really want it.

I gotta say that I give MAJOR KUDOS to Lauren Hutton for not having any work done to her face. Honestly, I don't think I have her balls. :worried:
 
Heres a minor retouch job...I'm still learning though.

c00per says I need more training with a plastic light saber before he lets me use a real one.

yes, it really surprised me to learn that smurf cared about her lips so much. I think enhancing your looks is great, whether it be working out, losing/gaining weight, wearing makeup, good sense of style, or even plastic surgery.

But you've lived your whole life with those lips and gotten on just fine. You are married to a guy that loves you and your current lips. I imagine that having a fuller upper lip will boost self esteem in some way, but will it be enough to even be relevant?

see the key here is that it doesnt matter that lumberg is satisfied with my current lips or that ive got on just fine so far, it's simply my preference to have fuller lips. like anyone else would prefer $250 jeans

yeah, i can understand it from that perspective. Seems like $250 jeans (or a new purpse) would just be more simple.

You don't have to go under for this though right? Can they inject it with just local anesthetic?

ah no biggie then, go juice 'em up! I was thinking you had to go under and they'd be slicing and dicing. I should have known better.

Some people say cosmetic procedures get addictive though! And isn't the lips deal good for just a few years before you have to re-up?
