I'm getting angry watching a 9/11 documentary

Every time I see the video of those planes smashing into the towers and then see the people jumping out the windows I still feel enraged. I really wish our President had not wasted our military resources in Iraq and had finished the job of destroying Al Qaeda.

what happened?

I know what you mean. I still avoid looking at it when Im downtown.

The pictures of the people jumping to avoid burning to death gets me every time.

At least I'm not dancing in the streets like some people in the world did when that happened...

1) That's too bad. Unfortunately, statements on the Internet (ie there are people here in Canada who knew people who died in that building) are often said but no one really knows if the speaker is telling the truth or not. Only the speaker really knows.
2) This is the Internet. Let's be honest. The audience doesn't really care and/or doesn't really matter.
3) Value judgements are based on a person's opinion / experiences in life. You're welcome to yours. However, based on some of your previous statements in other posts, I'm really sorry about the world that you live in. I can't imagine the life you must go through to make you the way you are.
4) Wow. You find me amusing? And here I was thinking I was borderline crassy. lmao
5) Lighten up.

he doesnt mean for it to be fuckin amusing u fuckin idiot

i think about it more now, because i live right across from the financial district, in jc. every day i take the PATH right into 'ground zero'. the town square in front my building has a monument which forms a line pointing right at the spot where the towers stood.

it's an emotional thing for me, but i'm glad to feel it. i'm relieved that i care, because it allows me to feel connected. the images from that day always get to me, however i usually don't experience rage.

i'm a pretty twisted guy who will laugh or make a joke about just anything, but some things i like to keep sacred, in spite of myself.

I'm getting angry at u people for being so boring.

1) You might have a point if someone on this thread was claiming to have lost loved ones or close friends on 9/11 to garner sympathy. No one has.

What has been said is that others here have known people who were in thbose buildings. Your comment was moronic, and even more ridiculous was your attempt to justify them with your stupid statements.

2)Bra, you're so full of it. There are people here who can genuinely claim to be above it all, and I don't include myself in their number.

But sure as shit it aint you either. You're just less honest about it than most.

3) Blah blah blah

4) I never said you were crazy, assuming thats what you intended to type. And unlike some others here I dont think you are stupid. You're reasonable bright, and even funny at times.

But you have a malicious streak in you as well, in a passive aggressive kind of way. And I dont find that particularly appealing. Whatever issues I may have in interpersonal conduct, they're pretty in your face where you can see them.

1) Again, you misinterpret. The point was that any comment can be taken with a grain of salt. Attempts to personalize any conflict ("people knew people in that building") can always be one-upped ("people knew people who died in that building"). Both can be true. Both can be bullshit. No one but the speaker will ever know.
2) Again, you misinterpret. The Internet and this place is occasionally like a soap box. No one is really listening because everyone is shouting at each other.
3) Take it how you want. I'm just saying that I'm sorry about whatever happened as I'm sure you feel the same with me. Pity. Then again, you chose this character to play because it suits you here. You may be different in real life and believe some of this shit. You may not. Either way.
4) No, I said "crassy". You said saying "classy" in a sarcastic way. Hence, I was trying to play off of it. All people on here may think what they want. After all, we're all characters. We're all hated by some, despised by others, and loved by a few. But the story goes on...until the characters get tired of playing and find new games elsewhere...or we're banned...or just decided to log off.

Either way.

its no use he hates canadians bro

we invaded iraq 10 years too early. militarily - we weren't ready. Even Somalia kicked our butts.

We can't even handle iraq. Imagine us taking on a North Korea or Iran or some other 2nd world country. Death toll of us troops in the tens of thousands easily.

I pay so little attention to that bullshit I haven't even heard any. Do you have any links?

watch the protocols of zion

i wish to take a knife to all the faces of all the fucks who point to prior knowledge that jews knew about the attacks, and so none of them died that day.

of all the things that i find offensive in life, it's stupidity that tops the list. there are people who will buy into the above statement without even questioning its veracity. on its face, the notion is absurd. hundreds of jews died that day.

duh.

The first person to die on 9/11 was an Israeli commando turned entrepreneur Daniel Lewin who tried to attack the terrorists on flight 11 after they took it over. The concept that no jews died is so stupid its laughable. The first person to die was not only a Jew, but an Israeli citizen and high ranking Israeli soldier in Israel's most elite military commando unit.

Daniel Lewin was a damn inspiration, one of the most admirable people I've ever heard of. He was a good bodybuilder, but thats not too relevant. He was an officer in the most elite military unit on earth, and then he went for graduate work in the most elite university in western civilization (MIT). While at MIT he helped invent algorithims that are used to process internet traffic, making him a billionaire on paper before he was 30.

Apparently the only reason he didn't take back flight 11 was his throat was cut from behind or he was shot, no idea which. He was huge and well trained at disarming terrorists armed with knives due to his history in the Sayeret Matkal. Perhaps the terrorists knew he was an Israeli commando and cut his throat before he knew what was going on.

did you read any of the exerpts from the book written by some fuckface in France? good lord some of the things he was claiming to have happened were so far off base , especially considering how many people actually witnessed the crash(es)

yeah, Im pretty sure I read that he was stabbed from behind, not knowing there was a hijacker sitting directly behind him.
